Aluminum alloy large surface machining
Case Details
Some people have been wondering why the keyway width of the cutter head is always wider than the keyway width of the tool holder. Does this mean the manufacturer is producing defective products? How do we process aluminum alloy plates with widths of 300mm or even 400mm?Our approach is as follows:Cutting parameters:Cutter head diameter D=300mm, S=600mm, F=700mm.Through this test, we repeatedly adjusted the installation of the cutter head and tool holder. When the keyway and tool holder slot were aligned to one side before tightening the screws, the cut surface always showed vibration marks. However, when we simply assembled the cutter head and tool holder without aligning them to either side and tightened the screws, the required surface was achieved!
